On
November 14, 2012, a total solar eclipse was experienced on Ellis beach
between Cairns and Port Douglas in Queensland, Australia. Right before
the eclipse, photographer Alex Cherney took this beautiful capture of
the last direct rays of sunlight which produced a diamond ring effect.
