At
first glance it may seem like the rock is about to fall on the poor
raccoon, but upon closer inspection you’ll see it’s actually a perfectly
timed photo and perfectly captured reflection of the sky in the pond
behind. The photograph was taken at the Hinckley Reservation in Northern
Ohio and the photographer says the image is completely unedited and the water that day was very still.
Hinckley Reservation is the site of the nationally known annual return of the buzzards. Located in Hinckley Township in Medina County, the reservation is dominated by the 90-acre Hinckley Lake. Another attraction of the reservation is Whipp’s Ledges, with elevations rising 350 feet above Hinckley Lake and formed more than 250 million years ago.
